SHIFT provide outreach casework support for young people between the ages of 12yr to 25yrs living in the Perth metropolitan area experiencing alcohol and other drug (AOD) use issues, connecting with them in environments where they feel safe & comfortable.

Referrals can be accepted from any source, including the young person.

SHIFT is a voluntary service where young people have the choice to engage. Goals and engagement are informed by the young person. The SHIFT team brings comprehensive, broad experience in complex case management. Every referral will be assessed for suitability and support levels will be determined on the needs and complexities of each individual young person. There is not a limit on the length or frequency of engagement. This is determined by the worker and the young person.
