The Town of Victoria Park has developed a draft Youth Plan with a vision of ‘all young people who live or visit the Town of Victoria Park feel safe, connected, and have opportunities to contribute and thrive’. Over 500 young people, as well as parents and caregivers and community organisations took part in the engagement that informed the Youth Plan. The Town aims to continue to work with young people and the community to deliver on the vision and actions contained within the plan. Young people or youth refers to people aged 12 to 25 years that live, work, volunteer, study and/or recreate in the Town of Victoria Park.
