The mental health system can be confusing and overwhelming. We are here to help you and can provide advice on which service could assist you.
For nearly half a century, RW has been delivering recovery-oriented services in WA. This means we support people with mental health distress to define their own goals, wishes and aspirations for wellbeing. We have a range of supported residential services including Momentum QP, an 8 bed youth service in Queens Park, for young people (16-24) who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
There are other Richmond Wellbeing supported mental health accommodation services across the metropolitan area and in the South West catering for people with different needs.
Richmond Wellbeing also provides community and outreach programs and we deliver NDIS services for adults who need help with their mental health and wellbeing based on personal choice and individual need. The Hearing Voices Network WA, one of our community services, has been led by us since 2005 and spreads positive and hopeful messages about the experience of hearing voices which is a much more common experience than most people think.
Our services are inclusive of all people. We were the first organisation in WA to achieve Rainbow Tick Accreditation, we have been working with local Aboriginal Elders for nine years to improve our capacity for cultural security including establishing an Aboriginal Outreach Service delivered by Aboriginal mental health practitioners. A key strength of our organisation is the diversity of our staff and our commitment to respecting people from all backgrounds and their lived experience.
