As a major regional city, Albany has a diverse community including people from different ethnic backgrounds, demographic profiles, regions and so on. Due to this, a large number of community-based organisations exist in our community. The City of Albany's Community Development staff provide advice and assistance to individuals and community organisations. The Community Development team also work to engage members of the Community through various activities and programs, such as Disability Awareness Week, National Youth Week, Seniors Week and much more.
