What is the WA Youth Services Directory?
The WA Youth Services Directory is a hub for youth services across Western Australia. The Directory offers contact information, service details and current service delivery status for services in every part of WA, covering every type of support for young people.
Who runs the WA Youth Services Directory?
The WA Youth Services Directory is a partnership between the Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA) and the WA branch of the Australian Medical Association (AMA (WA)).
What happened to the old WA Youth Services Directory?
The current WA Youth Services Directory replaces YACWA’s old WA Youth Services Directory; its predecessor, Pl!ng; and the AMA (WA)’s annual print Youth Services Directory, last published in 2019.
How do I log into the WA Youth Services Directory?
If you have an account, you can login via the login page.
How do I update my service’s listing on the WA Youth Services Directory?
Each service listing is tied to a user account. If you have your account credentials, you can login via the login page and update your service information. If your service is listed but you haven’t yet received login credentials, email matthew@yacwa.org.au.
How do I get my organisation’s service listed on the WA Youth Services Directory?
Services can be submitted via the Submit a Service form.
Why is my service not appearing after using the Submit a Service form?
The Submit a Service form requires manual processing by the WA Youth Services Directory team, including validating submitted information and cross-checking for duplicate listings. Please allow two business days for your listing to appear.
If your listing still hasn’t appeared after this time, email matthew@yacwa.org.au.
What is the Youth-Friendly Doctors program?
The Youth-Friendly Doctors program is an accreditation program for medical practitioners administered by the AMA (WA). Accredited Youth-Friendly Doctors have received specialized training in providing healthcare for young people.
