The City of Wanneroo's Childhood and Youth Services team offers events, programs, information and support for children and young people (0-25 years).

The team is made up of three sub-teams; Childhood Development, Youth Development and Youth Services.

The Childhood Development team:
* Supports parents and children pre-birth to 8 years old;
* Leads the Wanneroo and Surrounds Early Years (WASEY) network;
* Connects local families with organisations and services in the child’s developmental journey; and
* Encourages positive child and parent experiences through partnerships and programs such as It’s All About Play.

The Youth Development team:
* Supports young people aged 9 – 25 to connect with local services;
* Co-chairs the Joondalup and Wanneroo Services (JAWS) youth network; and
* Coordinates a number of different youth development initiatives including the Youth Leadership Program.

The Youth Services team:
* Delivers drop-in services at the City’s four Youth Centres:
- Hainsworth Youth Centre
- Clarkson Youth Centre
- Wanneroo Youth Centre
- Yanchep Youth Centre
* Delivers an outreach service to various public spaces and parks in the City of Wanneroo; and
* Delivers a range of school holiday programs for children and young people.
